earthen slip

I just discovered this little number while reading an amazing new publication, KOEL Magazine. The Earthen Slip in black linen can be worn with the v-neck in front or back. You know how much I love versatility like that. Oh, and it’s handmade! Need I say more?

it feels so right

Just a quick “hello” and outfit post for you all today! I’m currently in the midst of holiday event frenzy with Eli & Barry. I popped up at Madewell Cherry Creek last Thursday, then I was at Meek Vintage with other makers on Saturday. I have two more events this week! Tomorrow I’ll be at Queen City General Store for the Tarra “Women Who Create” holiday event from 5-9pm. On Saturday I’ll be supplying clothes and jewelry for the Goldyn “locals only” holiday event (I won’t be able to make that one in person) which is from noon-5pm. You can find more information on these events on my Instagram page. It’s been a blast so far and I’m excited to continue the fun this week!

I believe I’ve said it before, but I start to get VERY excited when the majority of an outfit I put on is handmade. The top is my own design for Eli & Barry (pullover 1 in cotton canvas), the pants are hand made by the team over at Elizabeth Suzann and the necklace is a favorite of my from Na Nin. Never did getting dressed feel so right.

This coat. Baby alpaca. For Christmas, please. Seriously, though, this coat fulfills so much of what I’m about these days: high quality and from a small brand. Made in a warm fabric in a gorgeous shade of beige. A forever piece that I hope becomes mine this holiday season.

breathing again

Well hello out there! I hope you guys are enjoying this holiday season. I’m finally getting back into the swing of things after my last post where I talked about the chaos of moving and feeling generally unsettled. As many people reminded me, it takes time and I’m happy to say that things have slowed down a bit and I feel like I can breathe again. And focus on the things I love like making clothes and blogging. To be honest this outfit has been in the queue for a bit, but better late than never. I’ve realized that as much as I love wearing black, I’ve been loving outfits in tones of nude. It’s a bit softer than black, yet still simple.
